Food & Nutrition
At Farndon Day Nursery & Forest School, we provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks each day to support children’s growth, wellbeing, and development. Our food introduces a variety of tastes and textures, helping to establish healthy eating habits from an early age. Mealtimes are an important part of the learning experience, where children are encouraged to develop independence, social skills, and good table manners.
As part of our forest school ethos, children have opportunities to explore where food comes from through activities like growing fruit and vegetables in our garden.
